Basheera is the first born daughter of our foundation bitch Vizara Gachira and Shangani Pansa Dafina.

She is a healthy, happy and strong female, true to type and with a honest and loving character.

She is not a real hunter, she likes to chase rabbits and small game but she never runs far away, always coming

back to "her"pack.

She had her first litter in 2007 with Multi Champion Tarujen Penzi, which resulted in five beautiful children.

Her daughter Madzinza Andwele Jinaki Hidaya won already her first title; VDH Europa Jugend Siegerin 2008

on the age of 13 months and her son Madzinza Andwele Katano gained his Dutch Youth Championship

with ease on the age of 14 months.

We kept her first born daughter Kabisha, she is living with Stieneke.

Her second and also last litter is born on 26th of February 2009, there were only two females

in this litter.

Sadly the firstborn was a bit weak and did not make it, the second puppy was strong and healthy.

Adimu means "unique" and Asha means "hope".

Asha lives with Bertha, Rebecca and her dog friends Lady and Shanty

In 2009 Basheera is neutered and retired from breeding, we hope to enjoy her loving

company for many more years.

In June 2009 we did several bloodtests with Basheera and it appeared she has antibodies against

Neospora Caninum and a cross-reaction with antibodies against Toxoplasma Gondii.

This is probably the cause of loosing her puppies during the pregnancy.

Basheera is perfectly healthy, the vet thinks the antibodies are a resume of earlier infections

which at the time were not recognized as Neospora or Toxoplasmose.

This knowledge gives us a double feeling, but we are quite sure now her fertility was okay,

and looking to the future, it is important to know what caused the trouble

with Basheera's pregnancies.
