Today we had a "Very Good" day at the CACIB show Wijchen (nl),
judge was mr. Rutten (nl). It was the first time he judged in the
Netherlands on a CACIB show, let us hope it is his last time too.......
Misha's showreport:
Four years, excellent type, head with good parallel lines, correct eyes,ears and dentition.
Good neck, strong body, good angulations front and rear, good feet, nails on frontfeet too long.
Moves well but a bit unstable in the rear* 4-Very Good
The floor was very slippery, most dogs had problems with that and so did Misha....
Overall the results were bad, lots of Very Good, Good and even Sufficient were given
by this judge, in most of the cases without any real reason.
When we came on the parking place there was a lot of damage on our car,
our GPS was stolen and there we stood, in the freezing cold, missing a window and
our TomTom. We managed to get home with a lot of plastic around the open window.
So it was a day to forget very soon haha.....

Today we were in France, CACIB Rouen, Misha did a very good job winning his last CACS for
the French Championship, well done Russian boy, you're the best!
Judge mr. Kerihuel wrote about Misha:
Excellent type, excellent head and beautiful expression.
Beautiful parallel skull, scissor bite, excellent ears and earset.
Beautiful topline and angulations, moves well.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAKARRI C-LITTER!!
Today Misha's first litter celebrate their first birthday, 15 puppies were born, 5 days to early,
small but very healthy. One male sadly did not make it and one female had a terrible
car-accident when she was only one week with her new owners in the States.
We'll always miss them!
Misha's kids are living in several countries; Germany, Switzerland, Finland and Holland.
They developed in steady and happy dogs who are dearly loved by their families.
Some of them are leaving their marks in the showring, some of them are training
their huntingskills, taking part in lure coursing and obedience.

We have lots of new photo's to share with you, where do I start?
First; yesterday we visited our darling Madzinza Busara Adimu Asha, she is now 8,5 months and
a very free, selfconfident and happy girl. She went crazy when she saw us again, and so did we!
Bertha, you're the best taking so much care of our little princess, thank you !
Although the weather was a bit clouded, we took some nice pics of Asha
After the nice visit with lots of cake and coffee we went to visit Misha and Alima's son
Shakarri Chipego Makini, tomorrow one year old!
Chipego lives with Harrie and Corien and their dogs Darwin (mix-rr) and Basheera's brother
Matobo, although all are males they live happily and without any trouble together.
Today we got some new pics of Shakarri Cakusola Csilla, very sunny weather in Finland.

Our Kabisha did a very good job again gaining first place Excellent Open Class females.
Judge was mrs. Bregenzer from Austria.

was placed 2-very promising (11 male puppies) and Dream for You Helya Ridge

Today our Asha was present on the open show Veendam, judge was mr. Hiddes (breedspecialist)
She did a good job, gaining third place Very Promising with a super showreport:
8 months, elegant female, head has to develop yet, good eye, ear and scissor bite.
Good body for her age, correct croupe and tail, ridge and crowns ok, very good movement behind, in front
somewhat loose yet.
Asha's halfbrother Shakarri Chipego Makini was also entered and gained
1-excellent in youthclass, best Male 2.
His showreport:
11 months, beautiful darkcoated male, good type and balance.
Stop could be somewhat less defined.
Good eye, ear and complete scissor bite.
Straight back and correct underline, good angulations, good bone, beautiful catfeet.
Ridge and crowns ok, excellent condition, good movement.
Congratulations Bertha and Harrie and Corien, well done!

Today at the Worlddog Show in Bratislava (Slovakia) Kabisha's halfbrother
Aresvuma Zulu Zuka became World Winner '09. Many, many congratulations
to Svetlana ( Aresvuma) and Anne , owner of his papa Zorro who is also the sire of
our Andwele Litter.
This is the second World Winner in Aresvuma kennels, its really a great achievement.
Also a big congrat to our offspring Madzinza Andwele Jinaki Hidaya gaining excellent
in a very strong open class females today!

Dream Reader Helya Ridge "Kiko" was 1-Very Promising at the CACIB show
Komarom in Hungary( 12-09-2009), his sister Dream for You Helya Ridge "Veverka" was also
1- Very Promising, judge was Borsfai Caba (hu).
Next day they were both entered at the Clubshow NKSZ Komarom in Hungary.
Kiko took it all becoming 1-Very Promising baby males, then BOB and after that
BIS 2 baby. His sister Veverka became 1-Very Promising baby females and BOS.
Judge was mrs. Monica Tusanova.

Today we entered our Clubshow, 168 Ridgebacks were present.
Kabisha did a splendid job, she was placed 1-excellent in Open Class Females,
20 females were entered in her class, so it was really a great win!

Today we were at the CAC CACIB show Maastricht (nl), Misha did a good job gaining
1-excellent in Champion Class, Kabisha was 3-excellent in Open Class, good job!
Both with very nice showreports.
Misha's daughter Nakawa Jibade van Yamoya was entered in Puppy Class, she
was placed 1-Very Promising and became BOB Puppy with a report that makes us very proud:
Excellent type, beautiful size, beautiful head with fine proportions.
Beautiful dark eye, excellent expression, good neck, good ear and earset.
Scissors bite, good frontchest, oval bone, firm feet.
Shoulder good angulated, very good topline.
Good ribs, rear angulations very good.
For her age good movement, fine temperament, 1- very promising, BOB Puppy.

05-09: Dream Boy Helya Ridge 4-Very Promising (10 baby males), Dream Reader Helya Ridge
Very Promising and Dream Girl Helya Ridge was placed 2 Very Promising out of 14 baby females!

06-09: Dream Boy Helya Ridge was placed 1-Very Promising out of 12 baby males and
won also BIS baby out of 22 babies, super work!
Dream Reader Helyaridge was Very Promising, his sister Dream For You Helya Ridge

Dream for You Helya Ridge "Veverka" and Dream Reader Helya Ridge "Kiko"
(Misha x Pink Lady)were entered at the double CACIB show in Debrecen Hungary.
Both received Very Promising and ended up to the top 5 BIS babies,
the second show Kiko ended up as Best In Show Baby!

nice to see you all again, present were Heike and Kai with grandmother Aschambella,

The Dutch boys were also present; Jelani, Keano and Chipego, 9 months old now
and developing very well so far

Today we had a big CACIB show in Ahoy Rotterdam (nl), judge mrs. Letroye-Lantin (be).
Our Madzinza Busara Adimu Asha (6 months and 1 day)showed for the first time
and did a good job together with Bertha who was also showing for the first time in her life.
Also her two halfsisters were present; Nakawa Jibade van Yamoya and Nakawa Farashuu van
Yamoya, both 7 months now.
It was really a pleasure to see Misha's daughters placed Best Female Puppy (Faraa),
second (Jibade) ad third (Asha), all three with a very good showreport and Very Promising!
Misha was placed 2-Excellent in a strong Champion Class and our Kabisha, who had not really
her day was placed 4-VG in Open Class.
Congratulations to you all, well done.

Congratulations Aresvuma V-Litter with your fourth birthday today!
Every day of the last four years we are grateful for our Misha, he proved himself
as a family dog, kissing and hugging 24 hours of the day, he proved himself
as a showdog, gaining excellent showresults and he proved himself as a proud
father of three healthy and sound litters. More matings are planned and we
hope for more excellent kids to come.
Misha is our dream dog, always friendly, always stable, so we give you a big kiss
and hope for many, many years to come!

This afternoon we paid a nice visit to Dream World Helya Ridge aka Simon and his
family, Simon lives in Holland and is now 13 weeks old.
He met his father Misha for the first time and they immediately liked each other.
I think we will see much more of Simon on our website in the future.
He is sweet as honey, well build and a real energy ball......

Great news from Czech!
Yesterday Jana was at the Club Show of RR-Sportclub with Dream Reader Helya Ridge "Kiko" and
Dream for You Helya Ridge "Veverka", 3 months old now and both were fantastic!!
Kiko gained 1st place from 5 baby-boys, all were about 5 months old and Veverka gained 1st place
from 4 baby-girls. Both were in BIS ring, Kiko became BIS Baby of RR Sportclub and
Kiko and Veverka were Best Couple of RR Sport club!
What a super result, congratulations from us all, especially from proud papa Misha.

Shakarri Cakusola Csilla "Cilla" did her second show in Finland today with a splendid result:
BOB Puppy with Honours Prize and a beautiful showreport
"Correct head proportions. Good body proportions. Good movement. Correct muscletone.
Lovely puppy!" The judge was Judy Harrington, US.
We had also CACIB show in Echt (nl)today, Kabisha is a bit fake-pregnant after
her season and she did not like showing today.
Nevertheless she gained 3-excellent in a strong open class with a beautiful showreport.
Well done princess, you're the best!

We proudly announce a new litter in Denmark of Int. Ch. Aresvuma Vividjo Makini LJK and
Atila van Yamoya.
The mating is planned in July 2009.

Today we entered an open show, organized by KC Dordrecht, 160 dogs were entered.
In the first judging our Kabisha gained first place, the second judging with a different judge also.
Then we had to go to the third judging, again a new judge, and again she became first placed.
The last judging, a new judge again , she was chosen to be present with the last 10 dogs in the final ring of Honour!
And she did it! Our Kabisha became BIS4 in the finals with a very beautiful showreport.
Female of two years, excellent balanced, beautiful head, beautiful dark eyes, scissor bite.
Excellent neck and topline, good ridge, excellent angulations in front and in rear.
Good bone, good ribbed, good feet, excellent movement, very pleasant ring behaviour.
Judges: mrs. Bouchart, mrs. J. Lagendijk, mr. H. van Raad and in the BIS finals mrs. I. Bijvoet.
Also her brother Bhanu (mr. Doubleridge) was entered, he did so well too, standing like a rock and
showing off if he never does anything else.
In his class he managed to concur the third round, but after that he had to leave the rings, nevertheless with
also a beautiful showreport, well done mr. Doubleridge!

Yesterday we were at the CACIB show in Berghem (nl), judge was mrs. Kerssemeijer.
We gained nice results, Misha was placed 1-excellent in Champions Class with rCACIB.
We had to leave Kabisha at home because she is in heat now..
His two daughters Nakawa Jibade van Yamoya (4,5 months) and Nakawa Farashuu van Yamoya were also there.
They gained 2nd and 3rd place in Baby Class with Very Promising and beautiful showreports.
Well done, it is not so easy to show baby's haha.

We are very happy to announce a new addition to our kennel!
We decided to keep our Madzinza Busara Adimu Asha in our kennel, she is living in co-ownership with
Bertha, Rebecca, RR friend Lady and Cocker Spaniel Shanty.

Yesterday we were at the Clubshow of the Belgian Ridgeback Club.
68 RR were entered, judge was mr. de Cuyper from Belgium.
Misha's daughter Nakawa Faraa van Yamoya made her showdebut in babyclass (4 months) and
gained 4-very promising with an amazing showreport:
Good type, long in body, head needs to develop, very elegant neck, straight topline and good
ridge. Already a very deep chest, ribcage needs to develop.
Good rear angulations, long in loin, movement with good drive from the rear.
Misha had an excellent rewarding in Championsclass and Kabisha was placed
third with excellent in a strong open class (9 females).

In the Netherlands was Shakarri Chekandino Jelani showing for the first time (also his owner Inge haha)
and gained 3 very promising with a beautiful showreport.
In Finland Shakarri Cakusola Csilla achieved Best Female Puppy BOS with Honours Prize
The Finnish judge was very fond of her appearance and awarded her with Honours Prize.
Well done both of you and many congrats of your proud papa Misha.

Today was a wonderful day.
Early this morning Stieneke and I drove to the northern part of our country to meet
our Adimu Asha with her family Bertha, Harry and Hennie and of course her ridgeback
friends Sam and Lady.
It was so good to see her again, she is such a happy and lovely puppy.

After that very pleasing visit we drove to Zeegse to meet our friends Harry
and Corien who are the proud owners of Darwin (mix RR), Madzinza Matobo Vumba (brother of
our Basheera) and Shakarri Chipego Makini (son of Misha and Alima) who is now 6 months old.
We were so happy to see you all again, especially Matobo who has a special place in our hearts.
Chipego is really a stunning youngster, he is selfconfident and has an outgoing and happy character.
Darwin is the big boss of the family, although he is 9 years old now, the other dogs show him their respect.

Lots of people asked me why our website has not been updated last week, the fact is I had a little accident
and broke my elbow a couple of weeks ago, so typing with one hand is not so easy.
Things are healing again and now I am able to update our pages again.
And believe me, there is a lot to see.....

At first we planned to visit Shakarri Chipego who lives in Groningen, but because of my broken elbow we decided to prospone
2,5 hours of driving, instead of this Stieneke and me yesterday drove to Hoeven (only half an hour) where two of Misha's sons and two of Misha's daugthters were present at Jack and Marísa's home.
We really enjoyed to see you all, especially Nakawa Farashuu van Yamoya , Nakawa Jibade van Yamoya ,
Shakarri Chekandino Jelani and last but not least Shakarri Keano.

Today our Madzinza Busara Adimu Asha is born!
Asha is the daughter of our Basheera and our Misha, she is born in a litter of two puppies,
her sister sadly did not make it.
After the birth of Asha nothing happened anymore, so we went to the clinic to make an X-ray.
It appeared there were no more puppies, so Asha is the only puppy in this litter.
She has a correct ridge with 2 symmetric crowns, no kinked tail.
Birth weight is 468 grs, she is healthy and a strong puppy.
We called her Adimu Asha, Adimu means "unique" and Asha means "hope".
Let us hope she will grow up as a beautiful and healthy puppy.
Basheera is doing very well, she is a proud mother and takes care of her only child very well.

Yesterday we visited van Yamoya kennels to see the puppies of Jill and our Misha.
They are 3,5 weeks old now, overall it is a beautiful litter, same coat colours, beautiful heads, they look very healthy and also Jill is doing great!
We tried to take some headshots and stack pictures, although the light was not so good and the puppies
are still very young(only 3,5 weeks now), the photo's are quite good.

Today we attended the CAC CACIB show Mouscron in Belgium, our Madzinza Andwele Bahiya Kabisha
did a very good job and ended up as res. Best Female, gaining rCAC and her second CACIB since the Best Female (Mavunguela's
Vuana) is already Int. Champion.
Congratulations and well done little "mouse".
Our boy Aresvuma Vividjo Makini gained first place in open class and ended also up as res. Best Male.

Back from Germany! We met Misha's offspring there and it was great to see them all.
Overall they look so good, some puppies are going abroad; to Finland, The United States, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
I hope they grow up as excellent representants of their breed.
