Helios gained 4-excellent (4/9) and Bindi VG (12 entries in her class).

Today Madzinza Pancho Chekesha Chaniya aka Pancho attented the Open Show Groningen.
He gained BOB Puppy and was placed BIS-4 puppy.
Congratulations Pancho! well done.
Judges were mrs Kalsbeek and mrs Hebels (nl).
Judgereport:
8 months, excellent type, excellent head, good dark eye, good ear, earset and scissors bite.
Good strong neck, good topline, deep chest for his age, firm bone.
Correct ridge and fine tail, strong legs and feet, moved well.
Excellent breedtype.

Yesterday we attented the CACIB show Kortrijk (Belgium) with Misha, Chanzi and Kabisha.
As usual it was a very big show, lots of dogs, visitors and people.
Misha liked showing yesterday, which can be called a miracle haha, and gained Excellent in Champion Class under a very strong competition.
Lots of VG's were given, even in Champion Classes!
Kabisha was placed 4-VG in Open Class.
Chanzi had his last performance in Puppy Class, he gained 1-Very Promising, and BOB puppy!
We skipped the Puppy ring of Honour because their turn was almost at the end of the day after the group finals, so we went home.
Judge was mr. Eberhardt from Germany.

This weekend we had our first puppymeeting of N'Gai Zamu B-litter.
Present were the parents; Misha & Zanta, Ambika, Chanzi and except for Badari who lives in Norway, all puppies where there.

This weekend we had our second "Chaniya" litter meeting.
The pups are now 4,5 months and growing up very well.
We were so happy all four of them and their owners could manage to come to Zeewolde, where we had a great time together.
Present were Stieneke with Kabisha, Ciska and Kees with Akin, Faraa and Nova, Harrie and Corien with Pancho, Monique with Luca and Cièna,
and me with our Chanzi. So we had four adult Ridgebacks and four puppies. They all went along so well with each other.
It was really a pleasure to see how well socialized the puppies are, our compliments for the new owners!

Last weekend we visited the CACIB show in Uden (nl), present were
Shakarri Chinedu Obasi aka Keano, Shakarri Cakusola Csilla aka Cilla who came all the

Still loved, still missed and very dear.
Tonight our beloved Gachira crossed the rainbowbridge at the age of almost 11 years.
She was not so well these last couple of months and decided to go on her own time and in
her own way, quiet and dignified, just as she always lived.
Her memory lives on in her children, grand and great grandchildren.
Dear, dear Gachira, we will never forget you, we are grateful for all the love you gave us,
we will miss you terribly and we are looking forward to that big day in which there will be no
sunset and no dawn, only eternal light and love.
Farewell dear Gachira, forever in our hearts!

The first photo's came in!
First of Madzinza Chekesha Pancho Chaniya "Pancho" who lives with
Harrie, Corien and Matobo (brother of our Basheera).
Harrie and Corien had a very difficult year till now. First Matobo suffered from a bloat,
he recovered but he was very very ill for a long time.
Then they lost their RR friend Chipego very suddenly, only 14 months old and
now, a couple of days ago they had to let go their oldest male Darwin (mix RR).

Time to say goodbye!
it was heartbreaking to see our darlings leave, we struggled so hard
to give them their best chances, and now they are starting to explore the wide world.
Luckily we have the best owners for them. We wish you all very much luck and love
with your precious puppy:

When the pups were exactly 7 weeks old Mirjam took a puppytest, we discussed the video's and the results
before the pups left our home.
Mirjam was also present to answer millions of questions about dogs and dog behaviour,
thanks for everything Mirjam, you're the best!

We are so proud over Misha's kids in Czech who did a wonderful job this weekend,
Dream Reader Helya Ridge aka Kiko and his sister Dream for You Helya Ridge aka Veverka were
at the double CACIB show Miskolc in Hungary with the following results:

Our "Chaniya" puppies are doing quite well, they need of course much extra care
because of their very early birth but they are growing.
The vet checked them yesterday again and found them perfectly healthy.
We have good hope they will make it, if nothing expected shows up!

Yesterday our Chaniya Litter is unexpectedly born.
Nine days too early, but sometimes miracles really happen!
Born were 3 correct males and 3 correct females.
Sadly one female and one male were stillborn.
The remaining four pups are alive and kicking, despite of their early birth
they drink on their own and some of them gained some weight already.
Our vet investigated them and found them perfectly healthy and strong.
Kabisha did very well, she is relaxed and cuddling her puppies all day long.
We are so grateful for this litter, it could have been our worst nightmare, but now
we are celebrating four new lives in our house!

LaSimba out of N'Gai Zamu gave birth to 9 healthy puppies yesterday.
Born are 5 females (4 correct so far, 1 with short ridge) and 4 males (all correct so far).
Misha and Zanta; you did a great job together, congratulations!!

Today we made Kabisha's ultrasound and she is confirmed in whelp!
We saw a nice bunch of puppies in her belly.
So our Misha and Kabisha are becoming parents, we are so happy....

Today we attended the CAC CACIB show Eindhoven (nl).
Misha was rewarded res. Best Male and got rCAC and CACIB.
Kabisha was placed 2-excellent in open class females.
Misha's son Shakarri Chinedu Obasi "Keano" gained 2-excellent in a
very strong youthclass and his halfsister Nakawa Jibade van Yamoya
had VG, also in youthclass.
Congratulations for the whole Madzinza family, well done!

Nakawa Jibade van Yamoya, daughter of our Misha did a very good job yesterday,
gaining 1-excellent in Youthclass at the CACIB show Mouscron in Belgium.
Judge was mr. Seymour from Australia.

We just heard that the grandfather of our Andwele Litter, N'Gai Zamu of Ginba's Hero
aka Dodge passed away after a very short illness.
For us he was one of the greatest Ridgebacks, he will be remembered through
his children and grandchildren all over the world.
Dear Katja and Marco, our thoughts are with you all.
Remember; one day you'll meet him again.

What a day!
First we went to the Clubmatch of KV Waalwijk (nl) where Nakawa Farashuu van
Yamoya and Shakarri Chinedu Obasi "Keano" were showing today.
Faraa got 1-excellent in youthclass and Keano achieved 2-excellent also in youthclass.
Judge was mr. Sanchez from Spain.
Congratulations both, well done!
Keano's brother Jelani was there as a visitor, he also develops very nice
and we hope to put some new photo's on our website very soon!
Then we went to Stieneke's house for the first mating of Misha and Kabisha.
It went very well, tomorrow the second mating and then we keep our fingers
crossed for four weeks till we make the ultrasound!

YESS, Kabisha's progesteron was 6 today, so we expect the mating this weekend!
